Terms of Service

By accessing or using ScamGuard ("the Service"), a product of WebyStudio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

ScamGuard provides AI-powered URL analysis and scam detection. The Service includes: • Real-time URL scanning and risk assessment • Message, QR, and banking-risk checks • Threat intelligence feeds where enabled • API access for programmatic integration where enabled • Browser extension for in-browser protection • Community-reported threat data ScamGuard provides informational assessments only — we do not guarantee that any URL is safe or malicious. Always exercise independent judgment.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials • Fair-use scan and API limits may apply to protect service reliability • You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

You agree NOT to: • Use the Service to scan URLs you do not own or have permission to analyze (except for legitimate security research) • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the detection models • Abuse the API with automated scripts beyond your tier's rate limits • Submit known-safe URLs en masse to manipulate detection metrics • Use the Service for any illegal purpose • Resell or redistribute API access without written permission

• Consumer launch access is free until July 17, 2027 • No credit card is required for consumer launch access • Enterprise, API, sponsor, or custom commercial arrangements may be governed by separate written terms • If paid processing is enabled for a commercial workflow, card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by ScamGuard • Any future consumer pricing changes will be communicated in advance

• ScamGuard is a WebyStudio product • The ScamGuard name, logo, and brand are our property • Detection models, algorithms, and threat intelligence data are proprietary • You retain ownership of URLs you submit for scanning • Community-reported threat data (via the Report feature) is licensed to us for Service improvement • API responses and risk scores may not be republished without attribution

Our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy) governs all data handling. Key points: • We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the Service • Scan results are anonymized after 90 days • You can delete your account and all personal data at any time • We never sell your personal data to third parties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that: • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free • Detection results will be 100% accurate • The Service will detect all scams or malicious URLs • Your use of the Service will comply with applicable regulations You use the Service at your own risk.

In no event shall ScamGuard or WebyStudio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. For free launch access, our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

• You may terminate your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms • Upon termination, your personal data is deleted within 30 days • Separate commercial arrangements, if any, follow their agreed terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
